108″ Quilt Backs From Henry Glass Fabrics!

Today we will be reviewing all the 108″ quilt backs from Henry Glass Fabrics. In the following weeks, at some point, I will finish up with 108″ offerings from FreeSpirit Fabrics. By then, you will have a very thorough knowledge of all the Jaftex 108″ designs.

Of all the companies we have, Henry Glass Fabrics has the most extensive collection of quilt backs. Many of their 108″ wide fabrics are basic so we continually restock them unlike the other companies that offer the 108″ lines as one and done. In other words, we order them once, in whatever quantities we need, and also based on the required mill minimums, plus extra, and once we are sold out, the line is discontinued. The most logical way to go through the Henry Glass 108″ quilt backs is to go in alphabetical order. So here goes.

AMERICAN DREAM 9813XW-77

American Dream: This one is especially for all you quilters who are making patriotic quilts whether it is for quilts of valor or some other patriotic and American reason. This collection contains 3 skus and the pattern number is 9813XW. The line comes in red, royal and cream grounds with varying sized stars.

BREEZY 6659-90

Breezy 108″: This 108″ wide is a monotone swirling motif. Lights, mediums and darks complete this range comprised of 9 different colors. This item can be identified by pattern 6659. This one is perfect for traditional and contemporary quilts alike.

CIRCLE PLAY 8700-98

Circle Play 108″: This 108″ line was designed by Color Principle and is recognized as pattern 8700. It comes in 8 different color combos. It has such great circular movement and is sure to spice up your next quilt. This bold design has a more modern vibe compared to most of the others offered by Henry Glass.

DOTCENTRIC 2049W-1

Dotcentric 108″: This is another 108″ line by Color Principle that comes in 5 colorways. Due to the high number of colors in this design, we printed this line digitally. Like the Circle Play line, this one is very colorful and is certain to make people say, “Wow” when they see it on the back of your next quilt. Dotcentric is pattern 2049W.

FOLIO 7882-9

Folio 108″: As I am sure you have already heard me say many times before, Folio started off as a very popular 44″ basic before it became a 108″ quilt back. This line comes in 13 different colors and can be identified by pattern 7882. The design is a simple vine created in values of high and low light that make it simple yet striking.

PRAIRIE VINE 6235-44

Prairie Vine 108″: This is the first of several 108″ lines by none other than amazing designer and author, Kim Diehl. This one comes in 6 colors from neutral with hints of color to blue, green and chocolate brown. The pattern for this one is 6235. These backings can go with any lines, but they of course coordinate particularly well with Kim’s own collections.

Quilt Back Solids 108″: For those of you looking for something more simple to back your quilt with, we have the simplest of all….solids. We carry 11 solid colors from lights to darks and also have a natural color with a muslin finish for a special look and feel.

RADIANCE 2124W-95

Radiance 108″: This is another by Color Principle for Henry Glass Fabrics. The design for this group has a nice touch of sparkle and just the right amount of drama for all your quilted treasures. This group comes in 4 colors and is known by pattern 2124W. Like the other 108″ collections from Color Principle, this one definitely pops and is sure to take a starring role in your next quilt project.

SMASHING ATOMS 2390W-99

Smashing Atoms 108″: Smashing Atoms is the only one of the 108″ lines that isn’t in stores yet. This one won’t ship until October so you are going to have to patiently wait for it. In the meantime, I think you have an ample amount of others to choose from by Henry Glass Fabrics. This line comes in 3 colorways only, but wow do they pack some punch. The pattern is 2390W. This is definitely another bright and fun one from Color Principle.

SPICED 0891-44

Spiced 108″: Now we are back to the 108″ groups by Kim Diehl all of which are from the “Spiced” category. The newest is just plain old Spiced. It comes in four different colorways and the pattern numbers are 0891, 0892 and 0894. These include a more basic traditional paisley, a meandering vine and two colorways of a seaweed type print in both a brown and light version. These are definitely great choices for when you are not sure what to put on the back of your next quilt containing Kim Diehl fabric.

SPICED POMEGRANATE 6631-84

Spiced Pomegranate 108″: Next up in the “Spiced” category is the Pomegranate group. This one is pattern 6631 and just comes in two colors. One is a monotone warm beige and the other is a multi-colored design with red pomegranates on a beige ground as seen above.

SPICED PAISLEY 6368-33

Spiced Paisley 108″: Lastly in the Spiced girls category of 108″, we have Paisley Spiced. This one also just comes in two colorways and is pattern 6368. One is a warm neutral and the other is a tan with multi-colored paisleys as seen above.

ZEBRA SKINS 8915W-78

Zebra Skins 108″: Last, but not least, we have another digitally printed 108″ collection. As I am sure you could tell, this one is from Color Principle who continues to keep us on our toes with colorful and powerful quilt back designs. These backings have some serious dimension. Subtle transitions of ombre-color create great depth as the circles interlock and overlap. This group comes in 7 colors and is pattern 8915W.

ZEBRA 8915W-77

There you have it folks, those are the current 108″ collections offered by Henry Glass Fabrics. Whether you are into the more traditional backings like those from Kim Diehl or the more wild and crazy backings from Color Principle, Henry Glass has something for everyone. Please be on the look out for these at your local quilt shop when deciding what to put on your next quilt. Also, if your shop doesn’t have it, don’t be afraid to ask them if they would order it for you. Happy Quilting!
