My Favorite August Shipping Collections
I hope you all had a nice weekend. Today, I am here to tell you about my favorite August shipping collections from my companies. Let’s dive right into it.
For The Blank Quilting Corp., my favorite line is Royal Jelly by Jane Archer. Royal Jelly has two free projects that are available. One is a table set for six featuring a table runner and placemats which will be all the buzz at dinner. The other project is a beautiful bee-full quilt which is pictured below.
This collection highlights the beauty of bees at work. Elegantly drawn wildflowers go along with the bees showing where they source their pollen. Golden honeycombs remind us of the sweet honey those bees make. Yellow is always a very cheerful color to incorporate into any project. I’m buzzing with joy for you to use this collection in your next project.
For FreeSpirit Fabrics, my favorite collection is Storyboard by Seth Apter. This collection has muted colors that give the collection a feeling of antiquity. You could spend a while looking through this collection and admiring all the layers of paper and textures you can find within just one print. Explore this collection and find your next quilt project inspiration as you read the words hidden within some of the prints.
My favorite July line from Henry Glass is Party Animals by Rob Parkinson. Party Animals features giraffes, koalas, lions, sloths, elephants and tigers all with balloons and party hats ready to celebrate. Just from looking at the prints, you feel like you can hear someone singing happy birthday in the distance. The colors are cheerful and uplifting which makes them great for creating a quilt to give as a gift.
This collection also has two free quilting projects available. Check out the projects by clicking here. One of the projects is pictured below.
Last, but not least, I need to pick my Studio E August favorite. Even though August is rather hot, I am choosing Cold Winter Morning as my favorite collection this time around. It’s the perfect time to start quilting a cozy quilt for those chilly winter nights. Cold Winter Morning features the most soothing blues and greys that will make you feel calm. Majestic moose are seen peering out of the forest as snow falls. I don’t know about you, but it’s a special moment to see a moose as they are not spotted all too often. Then again, I do live in Connecticut so it’s not like moose are wandering around a lot where I live. Maybe deer, foxes, wolves, coyotes, bobcats or large birds of prey, but not moose.
Cold Winter Morning also has two free projects that you can find by clicking here. Both projects are featured below.
Thanks for stopping by my blog to check out my favorites for August and happy quilting! I’m looking forward to seeing what projects you make with these prints. Which is your favorite collection?
