My Favorite October 2023 Shipping Collections
I hope everyone had a great weekend and had some time to quilt. Let’s get into my favorite shipping collections for October 2023 and get you some inspiration for your next project.
My favorite shipping collection this month for the Blank Quilting Corp is Modern Abstractions by Bentpath Studios. This sophisticated collection features rich cornflower and beige colors. It is the perfect elevated color palette for all sorts of home projects. This collection has two projects that are available to purchase, Ala Carte and Splendor. See Ala Carte pictured below.
The delicate line work complements the abstract textures and geometrics. The collection has an almost mid-century look to it while introducing new elements that bring nature into these timeless prints. Add some timeless charm and sophistication to any project with Modern Abstractions.
Buttermere by Morris & Co. is my favorite shipping collection for FreeSpirit Fabrics this month. Buttermere features a rich and soothing color palette with evergreen, golden yellow, periwinkle, pale blue and more. The collection has two free quilting projects that are available for download on the collection page.
Morris & Co. was established in 1861 by the well-known William Morris. Morris is recognized as one of the main leaders of the Arts & Crafts movement in the 19th century and this collection is a great way to bring a touch of that history into your home. Intricate foliage with hidden birds keeps your eye looking for more treasures in the Strawberry Thief pattern. Check out more of the detailed prints from the Buttermere collection at FreeSpirit Fabric’s website.
The Mountains Are Calling by Janet Nesbitt of One Sister Designs is my favorite collection shipping this month for Henry Glass. This flannel collection is sure to soothe you this fall. The earthy colors put you more in touch with nature. Prints with bears, foxes, deer and raccoons bring you back to memories of hiking or camping in the woods. This collection has two free projects available for download from Henry Glass’s website.
Hothouse Magic by Chelsea DesignWorks is my favorite collection from Studio E Fabrics. This floral-focused collection showcases natural wonders that like to be pampered in the comfort of a greenhouse. These floral varieties may be high-strung, but their allurement makes it worth taking care of them.
These prints are sure to make the fall feel a bit warmer. The combo of warm and cool colors is intriguing to the eye. This collection features a kaleidoscope panel design that will complement any of the fun prints in this group. Hothouse Magic has two free patterns available for download to kick-start your next project. Shown below is the Hothouse Magic Quilt #1 project.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my favorite shipping collections for October! Which are your favorites?
Stay warm during this brisk fall season and snuggle up with a quilt made by you.
