How About Joining Me For My Fireside Chat Facebook Live On March 25 at 5:30 PM?
Today’s blog was to be another one on how we at Jaftex have embraced social media to help improve our business. However, something more timely came up so I am going to blog about that instead. I will reconvene the social media posts in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, I wanted to invite you all to a special Facebook Live Fireside Chat that I am hosting on Friday, March 25th at 5:30 PM Eastern time.
Let me say that it will be a real fireside chat as I will of course have a fire going. Hopefully, it won’t be 60 degrees out as that might not go over so well as I truly don’t like sweat fests, especially while working. You too should consider sitting in front of your fire during the live video so you can really embrace the ambiance and create a nice mood and atmosphere. While you are there, you might as well grab a cocktail and appetizers too. Let’s take it a step further and invite some friends and family over to partake too. I am hoping that some of my family will be in the house and will join in on the fun.
Now that I set the mood and provided you with your marching orders, let me tell you what’s on the agenda. In no particular order, these are the 3 things we have planned, but you just never know what’s going to happen and neither do I.
Q&A: For a portion of the live video, I plan to answer questions that have been submitted on Facebook in reply to the pinned post on my page. I will also consider taking some questions on the fly while we are live. Please take a moment to submit that question that has been on your mind, but you just don’t know who to ask. I am your man with the answers related to the fabric industry so bring the questions.
Show & Tell: I have a new quilt to show off that is based off a new block of the month being introduced by The Blank Quilting Corporation. We have been starting to make some headway creating blocks of the month using a bunch of our different basics. The first one was Vintage Jewel for The Blank Quilting Corp. used the Jot Dot Basic.
Then Studio E Fabric created a block of the month too using their Peppered Cotton Shot Cottons by Pepper Cory.
Continuing on with the Show & Tell, I have a bunch of new Blank Quilting basic precuts that we are starting to offer. I want to make sure this is on your radar so you can start looking for them in shops later this year.
Quiz: The last part of the live video will be a quiz. I have come up with 10 questions and 1 bonus question for you all to answer. If you want to study, I suggest checking the feed on my @jaftexpresident Facebook page and also reading the last 10-15 blogs at www.scottfortunoff.com. I will of course have prizes for all the winners and maybe people who aren’t winners. You just don’t know what will happen unless you join in on the fun. What do you say?
I look forward to seeing you all on Friday! Study up if you like free fabric.
xoxo
