My Favorite September Shipping Collections

I do not know about you, but I am dancing in September because I am so excited to share my favorite collections for the month. Put on your dancing or quilting shoes and let us groove into these favorites.

Purely Neutral by Satin Moon Designs is my favorite collection shipping from The Blank Quilting Corporation this month. The grey and tan prints pair well with a variety of projects. They are a great option for blenders or to create a monochromatic quilt that will complement any space. The variety of textures will bring an artisan look to any project that you complete with Purely Neutral. My favorite pattern in the group is shown below on the upper left-hand side. It reminds me of frosted windows in the winter.

Arboretum by Sanderson is my favorite collection from FreeSpirit this month. This traditional collection features stunning foliage in a unique mint and burgundy color palette. The chestnut tree pattern is beautiful for cushions or patio furniture. The Robin’s Wood pattern highlights the stunning colors in this group and is ideal for decorative pillows to place on your sofa. I would look forward to creating some home decor with this group for my home, but I am not sewing much these days.

River Rhythms by Judy Gauthier has reeled me in! Get it? Cast your line and hook some fishy prints in with this latest collection by designer and shop owner, Judy Gauthier. Anyone who loves the outdoors or fishing would love a gift made using this collection…..especially that fisher-man in your life. I know I would enjoy a cooler bag made with the map pattern. Create some cushions for your canoe with the fish scale pattern or a bucket hat to keep the sun off of your face while fishing off the side of your boat. Lure in all the fish while sporting apparel made using the River Rhythms collection.

Cobalt Seas will bring back fond memories of going to the beach with family and friends. Decorate your home with elements of the sea using the blocks to create decorative pillows or a blanket you can take to the beach and enjoy laying on while frying in the sun. The lighthouse block always reminds me of the New Haven Harbor Lighthouse in Connecticut which is a beauty.

Dive into these patterns and explore what creatures swim below the surface. Collect seashells that weigh almost nothing with the seashell pattern. Unknot your mind when you use the rope stripe to make a tote bag to hold all your beach essentials. Be sure to check out the rest of the collection on the Henry Glass website.

Thanks for stopping by the blog to read about my favorite collections for September! What collections are you most excited to use? Make sure to comment in the comment section.

I was thinking 💭neutrals, blah blah blah until I saw “handwriting”. Swayed me over to the neutral side.
