One Month Down, Two Months To Go For #ScottSentMe2021
Time flies when you are having fun, right? #ScottSentMe2021 continues to be a source of joy for quilters in the US & Canada that also love to travel. I mean, have you checked out the #ScottSentMe2021 Facebook group? Or have you seen all the posts on Instagram? Well, I sure have been watching and enjoying all that I have seen thus far.
I continue to pick 3 weekly random winners based on seeing things that I like in their photos. One week I pick from Facebook and the other week from Instagram. Let’s just say that the Jaftex bribery train continues to roll on LOL. A little fabric bribery amongst friends is a good thing and I am ok with that….if it works!
I am hearing that some people don’t want to participate in #ScottSentMe2021 because they are shy about having their photos on social media. To that, I say, “Blah!” Come on! You won’t show your beautiful face to have the opportunity to win some awesome prizes? The top prize is 2 awards of $500 to be spent at two quilt shops of your choice! You gotta be in it to win it and won’t it be a shame to see all these great prizes go to someone else because you are a little shy or whatever other feeble reasons you have conjured up? You guys got this! Come on, before it is too late! Don’t let everyone else enjoy all the fun while you are sitting on the sidelines.
While perusing all the #ScottSentMe2021 posts and discussions, I see so many people saying that they have no chance of winning. To that, I say, “Blah!” At this point, it is impossible to say if the winner will have visited 20, 100 or 200 shops. Therefore, I suggest that you just keep plugging away and do the best you possibly can. We have a little over 2 more months of playing before we can see how this is going to shake out.
As mentioned in last week’s blog, I want to ask for your help to share this contest information with your guild. But also, I need to make sure that all those people participating in Shop Hops right now know about the contest too. Please be sure to share that information with them. Thank you in advance.
I want to continue to do all I can to make this contest bigger and bigger. Moreover, the more people that know about it, the more participants we will have next year and the year after that and sew on.
In closing, let me just say that you should not let anything get in between you and your participation in the #ScottSentMe2021 challenge. You earned the opportunity to have some fun so go get it!
xoxo
