Semester with Scott Week 6: Art, Mills, Strike-offs & So Much More
Today was a very special day for me taping week 6 of Semester with Scott. It was special because I had an amazing guest to explain where the art begins, how it is sent to the mills for strike-offs and ultimately how it is printed. The special guest was Lenny Kuperman.
Lenny Kuperman has worked for Jaftex for 51 (yes! really!) years and please notice that his last name is not Fortunoff and he is not related to my family. He is just a great guy and a very loyal and hardworking employee. Quite frankly, this is pretty remarkable.
Normally, I would write a blog that aligns with my weekly video, but I would do it no justice writing about this subject here in a blog post. Rather, I think I need to sit this one out and you all need to join Lenny and I on Wednesday, November 25 at 7:30 PM Eastern time on my @jaftexpresident Facebook page to hear it all for yourself.
Not only does Lenny tell you about the processes, but you will get to hear a few stories from him as you could imagine that he has many. Not only that, but after we were through with taping Semester with Scott Week 6, we did another video where Lenny reminisced about his years working with my family. I look forward to sharing this video with you another time. But seriously, imagine this….Lenny has met all 5 generations of Fortunoffs and has worked with 4 generations. Pretty neat if you ask me and very special.
With that, this is all I have for you today. Do yourself a favor and check out the video on Wednesday evening. Until then…..peace!
Oh yeah, and a big shout out and thanks to Lenny for taking the time to make the video with me, but also for being a good friend and a Jaftex-ite through and through! You da man!
