Thanks To Our Road Warrior Sales Reps

As I have explained before, the various Jaftex Companies use both direct and multi-line sales reps.  Direct salespeople carry lines for Jaftex only, whereas the multi-line reps sell fabrics for various companies.

In my mind, these men and women don’t always get the credit they deserve.  I consider them the unsung heroes of the textile business.  As such, today I want to give them credit where credit is well overdue.  

Right now, the world is upside down with Covid.  These rep troopers are traversing the madness and traveling from shop to shop so they can earn an honest buck.  This is their livelihood and they don’t have the luxury to say that they are working remotely today.  Yes, they can sell a little remotely, but it really isn’t the same.  The best way to sell is always face to face if you ask me.  

To me, we at Jaftex could not survive without our reps.  They are a critical piece of the sales pie.  Yes, we have other ways to sell i.e. online, thru international and domestic distributors, but nothing compares to what our domestic sales reps can do in the fabric sales department.  

With that, I would like to take a moment to say how thankful and appreciative I am for the sales reps that sell the various Jaftex brands.  I try to say it as much as I can to them directly, but it’s really never enough.  I recognize the various challenges of the job, but our sales reps do what they need to and they do it with poise, confidence and pride.

On that note, let me give an enormous shout-out to all the road warriors that work with my companies. You are greatly valued and appreciated. Thank you so much for all you do. Wishing you all a great finish to the year, happy holidays, a happy new year and a prosperous 2022.

P.S. Just this past week I was in the Carolinas for some company holiday parties. At one of them, the local sales rep, Janice Pope, was kind enough to present me with an amazing quilt that was made collectively by the Blank Quilting sales reps. That made me feel very special and honored. And that is one other reason why I so value our sales reps….not only are they great reps, but they are super kind. (See the picture above)
