The Jaftex Video Challenge Transitions Perfectly Into The #Scottsentme2023 Consumer Challenge
It’s nice to see some new participants taking part in the video challenge this year. I am very excited and encouraged thus far by the submissions. Let’s keep it going strong!
I have noticed great improvements in the quality of the videos, in general, this year, especially since we started this challenge 5 years ago. Covid forced many business owners to step up their video game and it is clearly showing. It’s kind of nice to see something good (improved videos) come out of something so bad (Covid).
Please continue to support this contest by encouraging business owners to make a Facebook live video or a Reel, but also please take some time to go to my @jaftexpresident Facebook page to enjoy all the tours that are posted there so far and will continue to be posted there for the rest of August. The videos will remain posted on my Facebook page for the rest of August and beyond. Take the opportunity to transport yourself to fabric stores around the US and Canada. It will be the cheapest vacation you take all year…assuming you don’t buy too many of the amazing fabrics that are offered. Ok, maybe it won’t be the cheapest…lol. Or, maybe it might be the most expensive trip. You will have to decide for yourself.
With that all being said, I want to mention how truly amazing it feels to see so many of the contest participants show off the products that the Jaftex companies produce. It’s an honor to have such great customers that speak so highly of our products, our team and our companies in general. You are going to think I am a baby, but some of the videos make me tear up as it just feels so good to see the hard work of my team come to fruition in the videos. The only thing better than that is seeing the final projects that are made with the fabrics by the ultimate consumers.
What’s truly amazing is that I saw most of these fabric lines being developed from their inception. Now, those same lines are in shops almost a year from the time they were conceived. I am sure that consumers can relate to these feelings as they wait so long from the time we start showing a line to when it is actually available for purchase.
Now, onto the master plan and the main purpose of this post. The master plan is that we host the Jaftex Video Challenge for the entire month of August. This contest is for my Jaftex customers aka business owners that buy directly from Jaftex. The thing is that we take the programming a step further by following up the customer challenge with a challenge for what I like to call, “My customers’ customers” aka consumers like you. That contest is called #ScottSentMe2023. With that, allow me to invite you to join the #ScottSentMe2023 Challenge Facebook page. Come and join the fun and see where people are going and what they are seeing. You might even make some new friends or be invited to be part of the #ScottSentMePosse. (Yes, that is a thing! Hi posse!)
In August, we all get to enjoy virtually visiting oodles of fabric businesses. Then, we kick it into second gear when I challenge consumers aka “my customers’ customers” to visit as many fabric businesses as they can from September to the end of November. That is the crux of the #ScottSentMe2023 Challenge.
We will have more details on the #ScottSentMe contest soon, but in the meantime, I wanted to explain how it made perfect sense for one contest to follow the other. Anyone who is going to participate in the #ScottSentMe2023 Challenge should be watching all the videos and treat them as advertisements or rather invitations to that business for the #ScottSentMe2023 Challenge. In other words, if you consumers see a shop you like, you should plan to go see it in person and have a blast traveling around safely for the #ScottSentMe2023 Challenge.
In a nutshell, I just wanted to explain to you how there is a method to my madness. It’s important to keep both customers and consumers alike entertained in this new world we live in. I also want to show the world how the Jaftex team is pushing the envelope to contribute to bridging the gap between consumers and retailers. We are also working hard to get our industry as much exposure as possible. In the end, everyone in the fabric industry wins when our exposure rises in a positive way. Please get involved!
Thanks for playing along and contributing to making our industry more amazing than it was yesterday by getting involved with all these different forms of what I like to call fabrictainment brought to you from me and your friends at the Jaftex Companies!
Be safe out there, ya hear?
