Today Is Rosh Hashanah!

Happy Monday Friends,

Today our offices will be opened, but I am not working as I will be at temple praying in the AM and then chowing down in the PM. It is the start of Rosh Hashanah which is the Jewish New Year Festival. This holiday is marked by the blowing of the shofar. The shofar is a ram’s-horn trumpet used by ancient Jews in religious ceremonies as seen in the photo below.

This holiday starts the ten day of penitence for Jewish people and culminates in Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur is the most holy day of the year for me and my Jewish brethren. I will spend that day praying, fasting and atoning for my sins during the year. Yeah yeah, I know Scott doesn’t sin.

To everyone partaking in the Rosh Hashanah festivities, I want to wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year. To everyone else who is not partaking, I wanted to wish you continued success on your #scottsentme2019 adventures. You all have 2 months and counting to go, so there is plenty more game to be played. Have fun and be safe. Oh yeah, and don’t forget to tell them that, “Scott Sent You.”

Have a great week.

Scott

P.S. Just a short and sweet blog this week as I don’t want to distract anyone from the #scottsentme2019 challenge.
