Introducing The New Jaftex Brand Ambassador Program (Part 3 of 4)

Meet The Studio E Brand Ambassadors

Amy Simmonds

“After starting my first quilt at 12 years old, and finishing it my senior year of High School, I asked for my own sewing machine as a graduation gift.  With that beloved machine, I have taken my sewing to a new level. I now design and create my own patterns for purses, wallets, quilts and anything else my family, friends or clients can dream up.   I am looking forward to growing, expanding my skills and sharing my passion for sewing with the creative community and beyond!” Follow Amy on Instagram, @stitchedbystarlight.

A selection of “Huggable and Loveable” books by Sandra Magsamen.

Barbara Wellman

“I’m a self taught sewist so my approach is sometimes unconventional, but I think that adds to my unique style.  I love color, and playing with fabric satisfies my creative side. What I find the most rewarding though is helping others to stretch themselves and make those things they thought were too difficult. It warms my heart.” Follow her on Instagram, @rexeroll.

Cheryl Chamberlin

“My name is Cheryl Chamberlin. I live in Central Florida and North  Carolina.  I enjoy sewing different types of items from blankets to small items. I find it challenging and rewarding and love to give away my projects as gifts.”

Made with “Pumpkin Spice” by Nancy Archer.

Lydia Overby

“At the age of 53, I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I began sewing when I was very young. At the age of eight, I entered a 4-H competition at our county fair. I made a skirt and embellished top with a little guidance from my mother. As my babies came along in my adult years, I caught the quilting bug and I’ve never looked back! 31 years after making my first baby quilt, I am drawn to a mix of vintage and modern styles. You’ll find both influences in my quilting and in my home.” Follow her on Instagram, @edenwood_quilting_co.

Mona Phelps

Mona Phelps began her quilting journey about three years ago. It was then that she fell in love with modern quilting and the gorgeous modern fabrics that are available. She creates memory and t-shirt quilts and also has a longarm quilting business. You can get more information about Mona at www.BluegrassStitches.com. Sarah “Lilly” Williams

One might say that Lilly’s journey into quilting was inevitable. After years of working as a sewing machine repair technician and sewing garments, she decided it was time to try some quilting. One project and she was hooked! Since developing her modern quilting style, she’s started designing quilts to share the hobby with everyone. Follow her on Instagram, @mysticquilts.
