The panel in this quilt features I Love Sports by Leanne and Kaytlyn, while the arrows in the pattern feature prints from their versatile Starry Basics collection.

    Scott, you are a very hands-on executive for your fabric companies. As a collector of fabric for MANY years, I find all your posts to be quite informative as well as entertaining.     I am a beginner quilter and having so much fun learning from you and all the creative folks in this industry. I love that Twinkle quilt design, also the creative type treatment in “I Love Sports.” The inspiring story by George Mendoza … Wow! I’m already subscribed to the blog! (I could sure use a new sewing machine-cant hardly believe it but mine is 50 years old LOL!)

    I’m parital to the George Mendoza fabrics – way back in 2010 I met him in Las Cruces, NM at an Arts for the Visually Impaired festival where he presented his fiber art & eye sight challenge inspiration to the kids and I was part of a musician group offering concerts to and hands-on immersion for those same kiddos!
    Love the Gypsy pattern!

    I am loving seeing how these five patterns can look so different depending upon the choice of fabrics, but they are always successful which must be the chracteristic of a good design. I love the Henry Glass fabrics and can see me diggng into my stash to make at least one of these patterns.
