#WeMakeFabricFun(ny)

2021 has proven to be another interesting year thanks to Covid. The Covid has continued to contribute to the madness and some sadness that surrounds us all. I know that I am living and breathing the madness both in my personal and my business life…..and a little bit of sadness too.

With that, I wanted to tell you that your friends at Jaftex and I are going to continue to, “Make fabric fun.” But also, we want to make it so funny! Life is too short for us to be so serious all the time. We want to add some levity to your life because smiling and laughing are healthy and contribute to your sanity.

Let’s start with some fun. By now, I hope you all know about #ScottSentMe2021. That is the contest where I challenge consumers to see how many shops they can visit in 3 months.

From where I am sitting, when I look at the #ScottSentMe2021 Facebook group page and #ScottSentMe2021 on Instagram, I can see from the posts that people are having lots of fun and that is a beautiful thing. Smiles are in abundance. (By the way, it isn’t too late to get involved with this challenge as it doesn’t end until December 1, 2021 .)

Let’s talk about some funny. Now that I have my own dedicated videographer, I am working really hard to step things up and do what it takes to jump out of the proverbial box to make you all laugh…..with me or at me. I am good either way, as long as I can make you laugh because that is the goal.

Back to some fun. Recall that Jaftex and I hosted the Jaftex Facebook Live Shop Tour Video Challenge. That was where we asked retailers to create a Facebook Live shop tour of their business. This was fun in that it allowed consumers to be transported to quilt shops around the US and Canada. Again, for a quilter, this is fun. Right?

Now back to the funny. Between now and the end of the year, I have a bunch of outlandish videos that are sure to make you laugh and smile…..I hope! You will have to look forward to these because they are in the cue for certain events coming up like Halloween and Christmas.

If you don’t think they are funny, that is totally fine, but know that I had a lot of fun making them and I really was trying hard to make them funny. Again if you can’t laugh at the videos, please just laugh at me and the fact that I really don’t follow the Presidential Playbook.

For our retailers, we have some fun for them between now and the end of the year. As per my recent blog post, we have Jaftex Fabric Fest October 2021. That is where we host a raffle whereby customers earn tickets for purchases of our newest Jaftex October collections. Again, we are just trying to make it fun by giving retailers the opportunity to win some prizes to reward them for their purchases. Who doesn’t like prizes? They are fun, right?

I think you get the idea here by now….we want to keep things fun and funny. But also, I wanted to get ahead of some of my future videos to make sure that you are all clear that this is just about making things fun and funny. As one of my friends recently said to me after watching one of my videos, “You are either a psychopath or a genius business person.” The jury isn’t out yet. What do you think or should I not ask?
