The Blank Quilting Corp. April 2024 Release

I’m excited to show you the April 2024 release from The Blank Quilting Corp. There are fifteen collections that will be shipping between October and December 2024. Without further ado, let’s dive right into the April 2024 release.

The first collection Along the Coast by Junebug brings us out to sea and is shipping in December. Twelve vibrant aquatic prints show off colorful fish and plants below. There is a panel with eight blocks, shown below, which is a great starting point for a quilt or for creating decorative pillows. The mandala and fish panel make a beautiful wall hanging that will bring the calming blue ocean into your home. Be sure to check out the rest of the patterns on the Blank Quilting website.

Another Brick in the Wall by Nidhi Wadhwa is a charming construction-inspired collection with eleven patterns that will be shipping in November. Create a funky quilt for the tiny tinkerers in your life. Everything that comes to mind when you think of construction is included in this group from traffic cones to bricks. The children in your life are sure to love having a quilt that matches their toy cement trucks and bulldozers.

Cruisin’ the Open Road is a nostalgic group inspired by driving down Route 66. The designer was inspired by many of the iconic things you see as you drive down the highway. Each state that is passed through on the Route is highlighted throughout this collection. Did you know that Illinois has a catsup bottle water tower? There are eleven patterns worth cruisin’ through on the website that will ship in November.

The next collection is Denim Friendly which is a great collection to use if you want a denim look without all the weight of true denim fabric. I was amazed seeing this fabric in person as it looks just like denim and I was expecting it to feel the same because of how realistic it is. The Repeating Rectangles Quilt shown below is a great way to highlight these patterns.

Get ready for next Easter with the Easter Wishes collection by Silas M. Studio. There are ten patterns in this group that ship in December, giving you time to prepare your Easter projects for 2025. The bunnies in this collection are adorable and are my favorite part of this group. Beautiful blossoming flowers bring pops of color off the pastel ground colors. What do you want to create to showcase this group?

Flock Star by Lucca Sheppard has me wanting to go somewhere tropical. The bright pink flamingoes in this group take the show in the Tropical Birds quilt below. This quilt saves you some time by using the panel in the group as the centerpiece. The nine patterns will ship in December which is right when we could all use a tropical getaway to escape the cold.

The next collection, Grill Master, is also designed by Lucca Sheppard. I am instantly famished when I see the burgers and hot dogs all loaded with toppings. Once this collection ships in November, I will have to get my hands on the barbecue apron panel so I can proudly say I’m the master of the grill. Check out all eleven patterns on the Blank Quilting website. What are your favorite toppings to put on a burger?

The next collection I am glowing with joy for, Jardin De Lune by Episodic Drawings, is a glow-in-the-dark collection. Typically, I don’t think of gardens at night, but this collection illuminates how beautiful they are under the moonlight. The collection feels very whimsical and would be great for a wide range of ages. There are 11 SKUs in this group that ship in October. Who would you create a quilt for with these stunning glow patterns?

Liberty is the next group which has 20 SKUs and ships in December. Mix and match these red, white, and blue patterns to create a patriotic quilt perfect for the Fourth of July. The Jumping Stars Quilt is a great way to showcase these patterns while sticking with a patriotic theme in the design.

If neutral tones are more your style, then the next collection, Modern Lace, would be a great choice. This sophisticated collection has eleven patterns that ship in October. I love the collage-inspired prints as they add texture and interest to any project. The Lovely Lace Quilt highlights these stunning patterns that can coordinate with anyone’s home style.

Overplaid by Julie Wurzer of Patchabilities is plaid-ulous! These handpainted plaids are available in seven different colorways and two repeat sizes. This gives them a ton of versatility for projects. Coordinate the plaids together for a rad plaid quilt or pair them with other patterns to complete any project. Which colorway is your favorite?

Paisley Jane 108″ is a beautiful group of backing fabrics available in six colors that will ship out in November. The paisley is often representative of peace so this is a great choice for backing a quilt with a calm and peaceful aesthetic. What color would you choose to back your next quilt?

The next collection is Rise with the Sun by Laura Konyndyk which has 13 SKUs and ships in October. This farm collection includes the farmer’s prayer in a print which is a unique touch I haven’t seen before. I love the chicken print with eggs and think it would make for a farmhouse chic table runner. Pair the table runner with placemats made from the block panel below for a complete table setting.

Romance by Catriona Crehan showcases stunning flowers, birds, and butterflies. This collection of 10 prints ships in October which gives you time to create projects fit for a Valentine’s dinner. I love the panel which features two “love” birds and ornate flowers.

The last, but not least, collection in this release is Secret Garden by Lisabelle Art Studio. This floral group is breathtaking and makes me almost smell flowers at just the sight of it. The Belvedere Wall Hanging shown below showcases the stunning floral panel. Check out all 10 SKUs of this collection on the website.
