My Favorite April Shipping Collections

Spring is just around the corner, and I look forward to seeing my garden full of lush flowers. Let’s dig into my favorite shipping collections for April.

Autumn Blessings from The Blank Quilting Corp. is the perfect fall collection to bring warm autumnal colors into your home. I love the addition of the turquoise color to these fall patterns. The Panel Frames Wall Hanging, pictured below, is a great piece to showcase in your entryway as you welcome friends and family into your home.

The pumpkin patterns remind me of going to the pumpkin patch with my kids. They of course would always pick the biggest pumpkin they could find. A wheelbarrow like the ones in this group would have come in handy so I did not have to lug them to the car. The watercolor leaves and flowers bring nature’s beauty to light. Be sure to check out the rest of the collection by clicking on this link: Blank Quilting website.

For all you quilter ghouls and goblins out there, I present Creepy & Kooky as a spooky glow-in-the-dark collection. This collection is quite fun to look at during the day, but at night glowing eyes might terrify you as you curl up under the Creepy & Kooky – Bridges Quilt.

Vials filled with eyeballs, slugs and frogs breath have me wondering what kind of potions one might conjure up. The spooky ghosts popping out from behind tombstones are enough to keep me from wanting to walk through a cemetery at night. The spooky creatures in this group though will not keep me from creating the best Halloween decor.

I love the muted rainbow color palate of A Gift of Grateful Praise, shipping from Henry Glass & Co. this month. This collection would go well in a variety of home spaces because of the array of colors. The Blooms Quilt, shown below, would be perfect for a sunroom.

The stripe with flowers is my favorite print in this collection, it would make for fun decorative pillows. Spend some time reading the phrases in the pattern on the upper right. This collection is versatile for an array of projects. Use it for placemats, a table runner, pillows, a tote bag and more. No matter the season it is outside, you can always have blooming flowers when you have A Gift of Grateful Praise in your home.

Welcome Foolish Mortals is sure to have your bones rattling. I always loved going to haunted houses with my friends when I was younger and this glow-in-the-dark collection brings back many frightful memories. The panel shown below highlights an eery haunted mansion in the moonlight.

When you turn out the lights, the glowing ghosts and skeletons are sure to spook you out. Be sure to take a look at the other patterns in this collection on the Henry Glass website. There is a spooktacular panel for creating trick-or-treat bags.

Seeds of Gratitude combines all the best parts of fall into one collection; sunflowers, pumpkins and colorful foliage. The Ribbon Effect Quilt would make a great gift for someone you are grateful to have in your life. The warm tones in the collection are cheerful and reminiscent of fall foliage.

Pair the plaid and floral pattern together to create a table runner to adorn any feast. Be sure to check out the placemat panel to make a complete table set. Use the complementing patterns for napkins that are both practical and fun! My mind goes wild when I start thinking of all the projects I want to create using Seeds of Gratitude.

I wanted to highlight another favorite of mine from Studio E this month, Hallowed Forest. It takes us on an adventure through whimsical and mysterious woodlands filled with creatures of all kinds. Do you spot what is lurking in the shadows? I enjoy that this collection has mysteries hidden in the shadows waiting to be uncovered.

My favorite collection for FreeSpirit this month is Paper Trees. This vibrant collection is great for any time of year. I love that it easily coordinates within a variety of home spaces because of the many colors it features. The sumptuous textures in the designs are sure to catch anyone’s eye. Delight your guests by creating a vibrant and inviting space using Paper Trees. I know I will be updating the decor in my office with it very soon.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today to read about my favorite collections shipping out now. What collection is your favorite? Happy quilting until next time!
