Favorite Shipping Lines Of The Month

I am going to start another new series here on my blog for you all to enjoy. For my first blog of every month, I am going to pick my favorite lines that are shipping in that month from The Blank Quilting Corp., FreeSpirit Fabrics, Henry Glass Fabrics and Studio E Fabrics. With that, we are now in February so without further ado, let me tell you about my favorite lines that are shipping this month.

The Blank Quilting Corp.

The Blank Quilting Corp.: My favorite line is the Fired Up line by Silas M. Studio. There are several reasons why I picked this line. For one, I am all for red, white and blue fabrics. It reminds me of how lucky we are to live in the amazing United States of America. Also, I think the panel is so inspiring and cheerful. It makes me want to smile because it has just a little touch of a juvenile hand to the art that makes me nostalgic. Check it out below.

Here are a few of my other favorite prints from this group:

In the design above, I like the fresh twist on the American flag.

This design with fireworks reminds me of my childhood. I remember sneaking out of the house with my friends to light fireworks and make sure not to get caught. Those were the days! Kaboom!

FreeSpirit Fabrics

FreeSpirit Fabrics: For FreeSpirit, it’s hard not to love the Kaffe Fassett Collective February 2023 collection, but that would be too easy to pick as my favorite for the month. No offense to Kaffe, Brandon & Philip. I also hate to pick a basic line, but how can I not pick the line by my secret “main man?” (Tim Holtz doesn’t know that I am one of his biggest fans…or maybe he does. But, unfortunately we haven’t met yet. I am a little bit of a shy fanboy. What can I say?)

With that, check out Tim’s Cracked Shadow collection. This isn’t just any ordinary basic design. It obviously has beautiful color saturation to start, but in addition, it has what looks like lightning bolts going through it. But on top of all that, there is subtle writing in the background. This is why Tim is awesome. He just knows all the right components to include in his prints. It’s crazy how he can combine lots of simple things to make one awesome thing. Great work Tim! Call me lol.

Here are a few colors for you to drool over. There are 12 colors in total. I love the names.

Tourmaline.
Amethyst
Carnelian
Henry Glass Fabrics

Henry Glass Fabrics: For Henry Glass, it’s so hard to pick as there are 9 lines shipping this month. Holy moly! Let me start off by sneakily getting one line out of the way so to speak. I am really excited about the introduction of new 118″ wide quilt backs. The new line is called Divine Vines. Check out the awesome design below that comes in tan, cream, green, blue and black.

That leaves 8 lines to pick from. I am going to have to go with Game Night by Ninette Parisi. I really like this line because it speaks to me as a man. All the games, snacks and man cave prints are fabulous and what man doesn’t love all that stuff? Also, I can’t tell you how often I am asked for “manly” lines. I am going to have to go with the beer bottle print as my favorite….just because. Don’t ask so many questions! It’s between me and the beer bottles. Let’s leave it at that.

Studio E Fabrics: Studio E Fabrics has 5 lines shipping in February. The one that speaks to me the most and is my favorite is a new basic. Not only is it a new basic, but it is a really neat hombre design. Check out how cool the free project is:

Now let me show you how cool the design is. Below is my favorite color and it’s really hard to pick one favorite. One thing to keep in mind is that the image for the website is a little bit smushed and condensed so you can’t really get the full effect. The color is called Dragon Red and it is really dragon red!

Here are a few other colors for you to drool over.

With that folks, those are my favorite shipping lines for this February 2023 from my companies. What I find interesting is that I picked two fairly basic blender-type lines as compared to regular quilty quilting groups. What do you think of my choices?

While I love your previews, it also lets me know that there will be some hard decisions ahead for me. These are all so fantastic!! I want them all.

I love your choices of basics! Interesting basics are something I am always looking for. Most all of my projects need basics to make the designs work.

WoW, more fabulous fabric coming our way. I love the Fired up Patriotic line and that Tim Holtz fabric is gorgeous! Love this bright colors and text in the background…

I really need to get some 118 to try. I love all shown here so it may be a difficult choice (which one. Or two!)

As a huge fan of Tim Holtz, I’m going to need to purchase his Cracked Shadow collection! I have a feeling it will go beautifully with all of his fat quarters I’ve saved for something “special”.
    I love this pick!
