My Favorite March Shipping Collections
I cannot believe it is already March. Time is just flying by. Hopefully, the weather is starting to warm up where you are and it is starting to feel like spring is on the way. Let’s dive into my favorite shipping collections for March 2024!
My favorite shipping collection for Blank Quilting Corp. is Petra because of its gemstone colors that will enliven any space. The panel showcases the most exquisite paisleys I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a lot of paisleys in my career. The rich royal purple has a soothing undertone that compliments the group’s punchier orange, yellow, and turquoise.
This collection is a great selection for decorating a sunroom or guest room. If you have a maximalist home space, Petra will be a great addition. The paisley symbolizes peace and is said to be representative of cypress trees. Be sure to incorporate these textiles with the paisley motif into any space that needs more peace and color!
After completing a quilt-top using the Petra collection, be sure to check out Glaze 108″ for a strong quilt backing choice. The purple colorway would work great. I love how versatile the Glaze 108″ group is. It is available in nine different colors so you will be sure to find one to coordinate with your next project.
Bloomology, my favorite shipping collection for FreeSpirit, brings us to a budding and vibrant garden oasis. The designer, Monika Forsberg, was inspired by Hampstead Heath which is a London park. The acidic colors and playful floral motifs remind me of prints from the 70’s.
The playful spirit of this collection makes me wish I had a maximalist home to decorate. Instead, I will have to settle for just making a quilt to give as a gift to someone who is as groovy as this group.
Bug, Bug, Bug, is a crawly critter collection from Henry Glass & Co. I’ve always been fascinated by bugs and this collection highlights how interesting they are. If my kids were still learning to count, I would have to make the book in this collection for them. It’s a fun way to help your kid begin to learn to count.
If you create the book for a little one in your life, then put together a bug-tastic quilt for them to curl up in while you read to them. This collection is easy to use as a learning tool for kids. You can have them name the colors of each bug. Can they count how many bugs are on one square of a quilt made with Bug, Bug, Bug? This collection will look great in any room since it features every color in the rainbow.
For a fun backing to use with Bug, Bug, Bug, I would pair it with Squircle 108″. The red colorway is my favorite as it has the perfect punchy red color and is so eye-catching. If I need to back a more neutral quilt, the grayscale colorway is a great choice. Take a look at all six colors on Henry Glass’s website and let me know which one you would love to use to back your next quilt.
M’Ocean from Studio E has captured my attention as it brings me back to my days of scuba diving. As I look at the seahorse pattern, I think back to watching them hold onto coral to try to blend in with their surroundings. The blue octopus might be as close as I get to seeing one in the ocean, as I was never lucky enough to see one on my scuba-diving journeys. If you have not been scuba-diving or are not a scuba diver, use this collection as an escape to the deep blue ocean without ever having to leave your house.
Try backing your M’Ocean projects with Vespa 118″. The dark blue colorway is the perfect complimenting color for M’Ocean or the beige color which resembles sand. The mandala print of Vespa 118″ is the perfect calming touch to balance out any project.
Thanks for stopping by to see my favorite collections shipping out this month. I hope to see you create lots of quilts with these collections! What collection is your favorite for this month?

I think I like Petra the best. I am in a colorful vibe lately. Now where was bug by Henry Glass 15 years ago!!! My son would have loved that. Alas, He is graduating college in May with a BS in Animal Science (concentration in Equine) So Whoa to this Momma …gallop that horse fabric!
