Studio E January 2024 Release

If you have been following me in the New Year up to this point, you know that I have been spending my time reviewing the newest Jaftex January 2024 releases. Today, I am reviewing the last of them so without further ado, let’s dive right into the Studio E January 2024 Release.

We start with American Pride by Geoff Allen. It is a traditional patriotic group that ships in August. This line contains 14 designs that scream Americana, but have some sophisticated hints of the very popular rooster. Of note in this line is the pillow panel print below which can be used for placemats also. In addition, there is a 24″ panel that features the rooster on a layered patchwork that can easily be made into a fabulous quilt creation. If you are looking for inspiration, look no further than the projects offered on the website.

Cream & Sugar XII by Studio E is the latest and greatest in the continuing series of pigment white on white, gray on white and cream on white prints. This line contains 16 skus and ships in July. These images are hard to show on the computer, so I am going to leave it to you to go to the website to check them out for yourself.

Next is Farm-tastic Friends by Sweet Cee Creative. This line ships in September and contains 15 designs. This is a great line for a kid that loves everything farm. This line has it all, from cows to sheep to pigs and horses and everything in between. Not on that, but as you can see below, there is a 36″ soft book panel. These continue to be so popular as an easy-to-make gift for a child or as an easy project to put together with your child or grandchild.

The next fabric I want to show you is the new Flag Day 118″ Digital print by Chelsea DesignWorks. It’s just a single design, but it is awesome! It is especially awesome for those creating quilts for Quilts of Valor or anything patriotic. I just love the movement of the flags. I must say that I am glad that we started producing 118″ prints because there has been a huge appetite for them and I expect this one to be no different. Check out the awesome design below.

To follow up the 118″ wide flag print, we have Jazzed 108″ by Chelsea DesignWorks that can also be used to back your next quilt creation. It is an 8-sku backing group that ships in July. The single design is made up of mosaic tile-like waves. I am going to let the fabric speak for itself in the collage below. Which is your favorite?

Mermaid Tails by Nancy Archer is next. It is a 10-sku collection that ships in September and features mermaids. The color palette contains various shades of blue with pops of pink. This line is probably more for a young lady or tween as it is a little sophisticated. If you aren’t a mermaid fan, there is plenty in this group that you could still use for nautical or beach-type projects. Who in your life would love a quilt using this group?

Merry Poppies by Sharla Fults contains 12 prints and ships in August. As the title suggests, this one is all about beautiful poppy flowers. The poppies come in shades of orange, red and pink and work well with the shades of green and black in the other prints in the group. The poppies are joined by some simple butterflies. In the end, this line is all about the poppies. Are poppies a favorite flower of yours?

Patriotic Pooch by Victoria Hutto is a collection that contains two of my favorite themes, dogs and America. This 11-piece group ships in August. The 36″ panel in this collection is particularly awesome as demonstrated in the quilt image below. What I love about 36″ panels is that they are easy to make a fast project with….just add some borders and backing and you are good to go. Speaking of backing, how nice would the Flag Day 118″ look on the back of this quilt? I think it would look pretty fabulous.

Pink Power is a special line by Lilac Bee Designs because it pays homage to those who have faced cancer in their life or are still facing it. This line serves as an inspiration to those fighting the fight or those who have fought the fight and won. The collection is small with only 8 prints. It ships in July which will give you plenty of time to make something for the October breast cancer awareness month.

Polar Plungers by Beth Reed is a fabulous rendition of all that exists in the cold Arctic. The line is comprised mostly of various shades of blue. There are fabulous depictions of some amazing sea creatures like the narwhal, humpbacks, belugas, orcas and so much more. This 14-piece collection ships in August. What I love most about this line is the title! We had a big laugh when the designer suggested PLUNGERS! Ha ha!

Sticking with the underwater theme, we have River Rhythms by Judy Gauthier. This freshwater fishing collection contains 10 prints and will ship in September. This is one of those lines that is great to use to make a gift for a man or boy. We are always getting lots of requests for manly lines and here you have it. I particularly like the project below which was designed by Judy Gauthier herself. How cute are all those fishing shirts?

Last, but not least, I have Woodland Magic by Ashley Satanosky. This 12-design woodland-themed line ships in September. The line contains many animal prints including foxes, deer, night owls and bunnies. This line is darker in that there is a lot of black mixed in with purples and greens. You can even find some purple midnight moths. Below is the block print which sums up this line for you. Which animal is your favorite? I particularly like that little owl hiding in the tree. How cute!

There you have it folks, the January 2024 release from Studio E Fabrics. I hope you love them all and encourage your favorite fabric retailer to consider buying in. With that, before we go, please tell me which is your favorite line.
