The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

We are getting very near to putting another year in the books. Before we do that though, we have lots of December holidays to celebrate. Then we top it off with a New Years’ celebration.

With that, I wanted to take a moment to wish all my customers, my customer’s customers, my employees, my brand ambassadors, my family, my friends and everyone else in my work and family life a fabulous finish to the year.

If you have work holiday parties like I have this week, I hope those are great for you. These are well-deserved celebrations for making it through another tough year. It’s also a way to say, “Thank you” to employees for their loyalty and dedication. Just don’t forget to behave yourself!

If you are celebrating Christmas, I wish you a very Merry Christmas filled with lots of gifts and holiday traditions. If you are celebrating Hannukah, I wish you 8 great days of joy, gifts and holiday traditions.

After those holidays are done, I hope you take the time to ring in the new year with lots of fun celebrations and some realistic resolutions. So before we wind the year down, I want to get ahead of it by wishing you a Happy New Year now! I also wanted to say thank you for everything. But also, I want to take a moment to point out my favorite holiday/seasonal lines from each of the Jaftex Companies because that’s always fun for me to do. Here goes:

  • For Studio E Fabrics, my favorite is Furry & Bright by Kayomi Harai. Kayomi’s art is so realistic and her characters are so cute. You just want to say, “Awwwww.” The only thing I would have liked more is if this was a dog line as I am more of a dog guy. With that being said, I still think it’s adorable and I am predicting that this one is going to be a winner. Meow!
  • For the Blank Quilting Corp., my favorite Christmas line is Jingle and Mingle with metallic by Sinead Jones. The metallic in this line makes it so elegant and fancy. That is really what is doing it for me. It really is like a Christmas line on steroids and you will be sure to dazzle your friends with whatever you make with this fabric.
  • For Henry Glass Fabrics, my favorite seasonal line is Bundle Up by Barb Tourtillotte. For me, what I love about this line is the winter that it depicts. I am a big fan of the snow. It makes me happy and I think that Barb captures winter so well here. Unfortunately, my body doesn’t like the cold as much as it used to, but this line is nostalgic for me in that it reminds me of all the childhood fun I had frolicking in the snow. I miss those times.
  • For FreeSpirit Fabrics, I am loving the Woodland Holiday line by Daughter Earth/Katy Tanis. The print below from the line speaks volumes as to why I love this line. How stinkin’ cute are those animals? To me, they are very stinkin’ cute and quirky. It’s a fresh twist on the holidays for me and that’s why it is truly awesome.
  • For 3 Wishes Fabrics, I am loving the Gingerneering line by Katie Yost. The reason that I love this line is that I have great memories from my childhood of making gingerbread cookies. It was such a memorable time of my life that I will probably never forget it. I used to especially love the colorful gumdrops that we used to decorate. To be a kid again!
  • For Stof of Denmark (a company we don’t own, but we distribute), I would have to pick Frosty Snowflake. Every year, Stof has one very large Christmas line exceeding 100 prints. Not only does it have various metallic colors, but it’s very fresh in that they don’t follow the traditional American Christmas colors. They have purples, blues, golds, reds, browns, blacks and creams.

That’s all she wrote folks. What is your favorite Jaftex seasonal line?
